Michelle Wilson
CEO, Ngāti Tamaterā

Michelle (Ngāti Pāoa, Ngaati Whaanaunga, Ngāti Tamaterā, Ngāti Maru. Pare Hauraki, Pare Waikato) is the Chief Executive for Ngāti Tamaterā. With over 30 years experience in iwi and community development, Michelle has held a number of roles across the local government and treaty settlement space.

She brings with her a passion and commitment for delivering equitable outcomes, and has a high-level Mātauranga Māori approach which she believes holds the solutions and innovation that is required to create audacious goals and aspirations for all. Te Oranga o te Taiao me Te Mana te Mauri o te wai.

Nicola Rata-MacDonald MNZM
CEO, Ngāti Manuhiri

Nicola is the Chief Executive for the Ngāti Manuhiri Settlement Trust. She is the inaugural Co-chair of the Hauraki Gulf Forum, and Chair of Te Pou Taiao for the Tāmaki Makaurau Mana Whenua Forum - the collective group that represents 19 Mana Whenua iwi of Tamaki.

She is a member of the Ministry for the Environment Maori Climate Change platform and member of the Department of Conservation Wildlife Strategic Oversight group.  She was the lead negotiator for the Ngāti Rehua Treaty settlement and is a member of the Maori Women’s Welfare League.

Donna Flavell
CEO, Waikato-Tainui

Donna is the Chief Executive of Waikato-Tainui and Chair of the Iwi Advisors Group for Freshwater. She holds a LLB from the University of Waikato and has worked on a range of iwi initiatives across the freshwater space, including as General Manager of the Waikato Raupatu River Trust.

Donna is also Chief Executive of Te Whakakitenga o Waikato Inc, the iwi organisation for Waikato-Tainui and has also spent some time on secondment at Te Ruunanga o Ngāi Tahu as the General Manager, Strategy and Influence.

Tame Te Rangi
Ngāti Whātua representative

Tame is a senior representative of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Whātua. As part of his role, Tame provides mana whenua advice to Auckland Council as well as the Council controlled organisations. He chaired the selection panel for Council’s Independent Māori Statutory Board for the initial three appointment cycles.

Tame is also an independent director of Hōkai Nuku, the mandated voice of four mana whenua entities to collaborate on Ara Tūhono, the NZ Transport Agency's Pūhoi to Wellsford roading project.
